Questions

Do I need to sign in to X?

No. Follower Ledger reads public follower and following lists. It never asks for your password, and it can't post, follow or unfollow for you.

Where is my history stored?

In your browser, for each account you check. You can export a backup at any time. If you run the optional daily job, it saves files to a folder on your computer instead.

Is the data accurate?

It's what X's public lists return. Some accounts don't appear in those lists, so when a list comes back shorter than the profile count, the page says so instead of guessing.

Why does an unfollow need two checks?

Unfollows are found by comparing one check with the one before it. The first check is a baseline, so there's nothing to compare yet.

How long does a check take?

Usually well under a minute for a few hundred followers. Larger accounts have more pages, so they take longer.

Do the quality scores mean accounts are fake?

No. The audience score and the flags are guesses from public signals such as posts, account age and the profile photo. Treat them as a starting point, not a verdict.

Is this affiliated with X?

No. Follower Ledger is an independent tool. Data comes from X's public pages and is limited to what X makes available.
